Polyglycolic Acid Suture

MEGASORB™ is a mid-term absorbable braided and coated synthetic suture made of Polyglycolic acid. It degrades by hydrolysis and provides predictable and reliable absorption. MEGASORB™ suture is coated with a mixture of Caprolactone and Calcium Stearate. It is dyed violet by a FDA approved color additive. It is also available in an undyed version.
