Mural DES is built on an advanced 3i Technology–enabled delivery platform, engineered to enhance pushability, trackability, and deployment precision during percutaneous coronary interventions.
The 3i Technology integrates three synergistic innovations within the delivery system:
• i-Coil Technology: A reinforced proximal hypotube architecture designed to optimize force transmission, providing superior push support and enhanced control during navigation across complex and calcified coronary lesions.
• i-Glide Technology: A hydrophilic-coated distal shaft that minimizes friction, enabling smooth trackability and improved deliverability through tortuous coronary anatomy.
• i-Twin Technology: A cutting-edge balloon design engineered for uniform expansion, controlled inflation, and precise stent deployment, supporting optimal stent apposition.
Mounted on this advanced delivery system, Mural DES is a sirolimus-eluting coronary stent system intended for the treatment of coronary artery disease. The stent is manufactured from cobalt-chromium L605 alloy and features an ultrathin strut thickness of 65 µm, designed to balance radial strength, flexibility, and deliverability in coronary vasculature.
The stent incorporates a biodegradable and biocompatible polymer coating composed of PLLA and PLGA, enabling controlled elution of sirolimus at 1.25 µg/mm². Following complete drug release, the polymer gradually degrades, leaving behind a bare metal scaffold, thereby minimizing long-term polymer exposure while maintaining effective antiproliferative action.
Mural DES is available in a broad range of diameters and lengths to address varying anatomical and procedural requirements.
