The Meril Training Academy is spread over 200,000 square feet and is articulated in the form of a "wave", blending beautifully within the serene landscape of the Meril campus in Vapi, Gujarat, India. The academy boasts several training auditoriums, which can collectively accommodate more than 750 people at a time.
The main auditorium is named after the ancient world’s first international university, Takshashila. This auditorium is an acoustically designed venue of international quality. Equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure enabling direct telecast, the auditorium is ideal for large conferences, seminars and symposiums. The facility can accommodate more than 300 people at a time. This one-of-its-kind auditorium is the showstopper of our academy.
This state-of-the-art facility, which is made to enhance hands-on basic lap skills and hold advance courses on porcine harvested, provides healthcare professionals with the opportunities to make mistakes, refine techniques and ensure theatre effectiveness in a controlled, yet extremely realistic setting. This 150-seater auditorium is named after a legendry scholar of the Indian Medical Science and Father of Surgery, Maharishi Sushruta. It is well-resourced, well-lit, Wi-Fi-enabled and spacious. It is also equipped with state-of-the-art visual and interactive tools designed to facilitate smoother management of a wide range of events.
Meril Simulation Suite
The Meril Simulation Suite sprawls across 3000 square feet. It has a dedicated area for cardiology, orthopaedic and endo surgery. The room consists of endo-stations for hands-on practice to improve hand-eye co-ordination for those who intend to learn laparoscopic surgical skills.
