Freedom®

An advanced knee replacement system designed to address the anatomical, physiological, and lifestyle needs of patients, providing high-flexion and ensuring patient satisfaction

The Freedom Total Knee® System is the first USFDA-approved knee system with 7 tangential radii, resulting in excellent implant-to-bone fit. Developed using advanced design engineering technologies, it addresses the anatomical, physiological, and lifestyle needs of today’s patients. The system’s unique design allows patients to achieve optimal high flexion motion, ensuring patient satisfaction. Compared to general Knee replacement procedures, the Freedom Total Knee® System requires minimal bone cutting and enables a more conservative bone resection. Its intuitive design offers surgeons the freedom to customize size options to better fit the implants to the patient's knee, making complicated procedures and therapy methods, such as arthritis treatment, more efficient and increasing success rates for both doctors and patients.

Key Features

Smooth extensor mechanism helps in reducing anterior knee pain

Increased femoral roll back allowing high flexion up to 155 degrees for various daily & social activities

Symmetrical post-cam mechanism for rotation at deep flexion

Indication

Arthritis is an inflammation of one or more of your joints. Pain, swelling, and stiffness are the primary symptoms of arthritis. Any joint in the body may be affected by the disease, but it is particularly common in the knee. Knee replacement surgery is considered after all other conservative options have failed to provide any relief. The procedure involves removing the damaged knee and replacing it with an artificial one.
